Discussion

*      Scout Fair feedback

*      The Fair was a big hit with all who attended.

*      Food booths had long lines, so maybe the Pack could run a food booth next year?  Or just attend and enjoy!

*      Camp-out feedback

*      Great weekend for everyone who braved the cold nights!

*      Group dinner was a highlight.  Some folks wanted a hot breakfast on Sunday, but most campers packed up too early to support it.

*      The campfire smores-fest got chaotic and at least 1 burn was reported.  Next year we should control the smores-fest by distributing the scouts to smaller fire rings that have more adult control.

*      This year’s night hike also got chaotic.  Future night hikes should stay near the meadow and have 1 adult for each scout.

*      The William Heise campground was great, but next year we will try to go later in May and hopefully get warmer weather.

*      Outdoor Activities Awards

*      Most Den’s completed several of the Outdoor Activities at the camp-out, but scouts still need to attend either a Cub Scout day camp or Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camp to earn this award.

*      75th Anniversary Activities for Pack Ribbon & Patches: (Susan)

*      We are on track to complete these requirements.

*      Still looking for help with the Pack Scrapbook.  See the Website.

*      Memorial Weekend Flag Placement at Rosecrans (May 28)

*      Meet at Dingeman Elem parking lot at 0615, and plan to leave by 0630!

*      Bryon promises to bring donuts to wake up you and your scout!

*      Car pools are encouraged since parking at Rosecrans will be tight.

*      Pack Graduation (June 12)

*      Location = Jerebek Park

*      Potluck dinner

*      Plans will be discussed at our next Committee meeting.

*      Scripps Mesa District Awards Dinner (June 18)

*      All leaders are encouraged to support the first Scripps Mesa District Awards Dinner.  Cost $15 each.  Please RSVP by June 13th.

*      The District will recognize 5 volunteers from our Pack.

*      The Committee authorized the Pack to pay dinner costs for each awardee and their spouse.

*      Padres Baseball game schedule (Bryon)
